We are looking to recruit an Automotive Quality Manager to take ownership of quality, environmental, and health & safety management at our client's manufacturing site in Salisbury. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on building robust systems, improving processes, and driving a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement. You'll play a key role in strengthening systems and supporting the next phase of growth for a well-established automotive supplier.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Own the Quality & Environmental Systems Lead and continuously improve our ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 management systems.
  • Drive Production Quality Oversee daily quality operations including inspection, metrology, non-conformance management and scrap reduction.
  • Manage Customer Quality Be the key contact for OEM and Tier 1 customer quality teams, managing complaints, corrective actions and performance reporting.
  • Support New Product Launches Lead quality activities for APQP and PPAP, ensuring robust launches and compliant submissions.
  • Lead Environmental Compliance Drive sustainability initiatives including waste reduction, energy efficiency and environmental compliance.
  • Develop the Quality Team Mentor engineers, inspectors and technicians while embedding a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Champion Health & Safety Support site H&S systems, risk assessments and safe working practices across quality operations.

What We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years automotive quality experience.
  • Leadership experience within manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
  • Experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC and auditing.
  • Excellent problem solving and customer communication skills.
  • Ability to work strategically while remaining hands-on.
