This is a great opportunity to step into a busy Corporate/Commercial team where you’ll be trusted as a key support to fee earners, with real variety, exposure and a collaborative environment. This is a full-time position with hybrid working available.
Responsibilities
- Support billing and financial admin (expenses, residual balances, dashboards/reports)
- Open new matters and prepare client agreements
- Manage diaries: meetings, travel, calls and coordinating internal/external attendees
- Build strong relationships and liaise with clients via email, phone and correspondence
- Assist with meeting preparation and general document production
- Support business development activity (pitches and presentations)
- Manage post, emails and calls in fee earners’ absence
- Maintain and update client details on the CRM system
- Produce and maintain Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations
- Help organise team socials and events
- Occasional travel between office locations as required
About you
- Previous legal secretarial/administrative experience is essential
- Confident communicator with a professional telephone manner
- Highly organised with the ability to juggle priorities in a fast-paced team
- Proactive, reliable and happy to take ownership
- Discreet and trusted with confidential information
- Professional services experience is beneficial
- Familiarity with DocuSign, HighQ, MS Teams, BigHand Now and Peppermint is desirable (not essential)
