Hybrid working to either our Manchester or Peterborough office.
Role Purpose
We're looking for an experienced and commercially focused People Business Partnerto work closely with senior leaders in a fast-paced operational environment.
You'll act as a trusted advisor, providing support, coaching, and constructive challenge to drive high performance, engagement, and business success.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building strong relationships, influencing at all levels, and delivering practical people solutions that make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with senior leaders to develop and deliver people plans aligned to business objectives.
- Provide expert people advice, coaching, and challenge to drive performance and accountability.
- Use people data and insights to identify trends and recommend solutions.
- Support key people processes including performance, talent, succession, engagement, and reward.
- Lead and support organisational change, restructures, and consultation activity.
- Develop strategies to attract, retain, and develop talent.
- Collaborate with the wider People team to deliver business-focused people initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policy, and regulatory requirements.
About You
You'll be a resilient and credible People professional with the confidence to influence and challenge senior stakeholders in a demanding operational environment.
Essential
- Proven experience as a People Partner or HR Business Partner.
- Strong stakeholder management, coaching, and influencing skills.
- Experience developing and delivering people plans.
- Strong employee relations and UK employment law knowledge.
- Experience leading organisational change and consultation activity.
- Ability to interpret people data and turn insights into action.
- Commercially minded with a focus on delivering business outcomes.
- Able to work at pace and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Desirable
- TUPE experience.
- Financial Services experience.
- Knowledge of the insurance or broking sector.
- CIPD qualified (Level 5+).
