Finance Business Partner - Insurance
Location: Hybrid in Manchester

This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced finance team where you will play a key role in supporting trading performance, improving reporting and forecasting, and helping the business balance growth with profitability.
As a Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with internal P&L owners, external partners and central finance teams, providing clear insight, challenge and financial support across Distribution.
What you’ll be doing
- Support the delivery of budget targets across volumes and EBITDA, helping the business understand performance, risks, opportunities and commercial outcomes.
- Supporting commercial strategy and pricing optimisation to balance growth with profitability.
- Managing risks and opportunities with accuracy, transparency and clear ownership.
- Providing financial tracking for key initiatives and ensuring functional owners remain accountable for delivery.
- Owning consistent trading reporting and forecasting across Distribution.
- Producing impactful analysis to investigate performance issues and strengthen business intelligence.
- Championing process simplification and continuous improvement, including the transition to Group Anaplan modelling and data.
- Supporting M&A activity, including due diligence and information requests.
- Building strong relationships with internal P&L owners, external partners, Atlanta and central finance teams.
- Playing an active role in shaping a “One Finance” culture built on teamwork, curiosity and shared success.
You’ll bring:
- Part-qualified or fully qualified accountancy background, such as ACCA, CIMA or ACA.
- Strong FP&A and business partnering experience.
- Experience working in a partner-facing or commercially focused environment would be advantageous.
- Advanced Excel skills, including model-building.
- Experience with Anaplan or similar planning/reporting tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into meaningful insight.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive, curious mindset with a genuine appetite to drive change and improve ways of working.
