We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a major re-platforming programme for a significant insurance business. The programme will deliver the migration to a new Policy Administration System, covering both operational process transformation and enabling technology. This is a business-focused change leadership role, requiring end-to-end ownership of a complex transformation rather than a purely technical or IT delivery remit.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle delivery of a large-scale re-platforming programme within an insurance environment
- Own end-to-end change management, including business readiness, operational transformation, and benefits realisation
- Manage and coordinate multiple substantive technology and business workstreams
- Engage and influence senior stakeholders up to Operations and Commercial Director level
- Ensure alignment with agreed portfolio objectives and governance frameworks
Required Experience
- Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager delivering complex, end-to-end business change programmes
- Strong business change background, with the ability to manage significant technology components (not a technical PM role)
- Excellent senior stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience within Insurance essential
- Re-platforming experience strongly preferred, particularly involving Policy Administration Systems (CDL Strata experience advantageous)
Contract Details
- Outside IR35
- Immediate start, with interviews planned for next week
- Hybrid working: Manchester office 2–3 days per week preferred
