Job Description Private Client Solicitor My client is a Legal 500-ranked, full-service law firm with a well-established presence in Bristol and the South West. The Private Client team advises individuals, families and trustees on a broad range of wealth, succession and estate matters, and is recognised in the independent legal directories for the quality of its advice. We are seeking a Private Client Solicitor to join our Bristol team, working on a varied caseload spanning wills, trusts, estate administration and succession planning. This is an opportunity to build a broad private client practice within a well-regarded, Legal 500-ranked team, with genuine early client contact and responsibility. Advising on wills, trusts, powers of attorney and estate administration Supporting tax and succession planning for individuals and families Advising high-net-worth clients on inheritance tax, capital gains tax and wider wealth planning strategies Advising on cross-border estates and succession issues involving international assets or beneficiaries Liaising with accountants, financial advisers and other professionals to deliver joined-up advice to clients and their families Supporting business owners with succession planning, including the interaction between personal and business assets Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales), 2-6 years' PQE in private client law Strong technical drafting and analytical skills, with sound knowledge of trusts and tax planning Excellent client-facing manner and ability to manage a varied, fee-earning caseload with minimal supervision Commercially aware, with an interest in business development and building client relationships Competitive salary and benefits package A well-regarded, Legal 500-ranked Private Client team with a strong client base Hybrid/flexible working arrangements Bristol city-centre office location GWV Talent Solutions Limited (trading as Gerrard White Consulting and Vermelo RPO) acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary and contract workers.
