The Role

  • Manage a varied caseload of contentious trust, will and estate disputes
  • Advise trustees, executors, private banks, charities and individuals
  • Represent clients in negotiations, mediation and court proceedings
  • Lead and develop the contentious trusts and probate practice
  • Build and maintain strong client and referrer relationships
  • Support business development and networking activities
  • Work closely with colleagues across the Litigation and Private Client teams

About You

  • Extensive experience within contentious trusts and probate
  • Strong technical expertise and commercial awareness
  • Excellent client relationship and communication skills
  • A proactive approach to business development
  • The ability to work collaboratively while leading and developing a specialist practice area
  • STEP and/or ACTAPS qualifications would be advantageous.
