The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for Paralegals to join the London office of a highly regarded specialist property law firm.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Paralegal with at least 6 months’ experience who is looking to develop their career within residential property and conveyancing. The firm offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced property lawyers within a modern, technology-led environment.

Previous residential conveyancing experience would be highly advantageous, although candidates with broader legal paralegal experience and a genuine interest in property will also be considered.

The Role

As a Paralegal, you will work closely with the firm's lawyers, assisting with the progression of residential property transactions and providing support throughout the conveyancing process.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the management of residential property transactions.
  • Preparing and reviewing legal documentation.
  • Conducting property searches and assisting with due diligence.
  • Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, lenders and other third parties.
  • Preparing correspondence and other legal documentation.
  • Monitoring deadlines and proactively progressing matters.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case files and case management systems.
  • Supporting lawyers with the day-to-day management of their caseloads.
  • Responding to client queries and providing a high level of client service.
  • Assisting with matters through to completion and post-completion where required.

About You

The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months' relevant legal experience and be looking to take the next step in their career.

You will ideally have:

  • At least 6 months' experience working in a legal environment.
  • Residential property or conveyancing experience is highly desirable.
  • A good understanding of legal processes and terminology.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good organisational and time-management skills.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • A proactive approach and willingness to learn.
  • Confidence communicating with clients and third parties.
  • A genuine interest in developing a long-term career within property law.
