The Role

We are seeking an Employment Solicitor to join our Bristol team, working on a mixed caseload of contentious and non-contentious matters for a varied client base. This is an opportunity to develop a broad employment practice within a well-regarded, Legal 500-ranked team, with genuine early client contact and responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advising on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters, including contracts, disciplinary and grievance processes, redundancy and TUPE
  • Supporting Employment Tribunal claims, predominantly acting for respondent employers
  • Advising on day-to-day HR queries for a range of corporate and SME clients
  • Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, staff handbooks, policies and settlement agreements
  • Advising on restrictive covenants, post-termination disputes and senior executive exits
  • Supporting clients through business reorganisation
