Gerrards of Swinton works for many of the main suppliers in the Industry and is a Gold FORS registered company and is currently recruiting an experienced HGV Mechanic/Fitter.
The ideal candidate will
Have experience in routine vehicle maintenance to VOSA standards
Ensure all known defects are dealt with promptly
Be able to strip and change tyres if required
Be able to carry out minor electrical and mechanical work
Have good house keeping routines to meet H&S requirements
Be able to communicate effectively with management
Have a Class 1 or Class 2 licence ideally but it is not essential
Have a full driving licence
Be able start from 5am and cover holidays and sickness when required
Hourly rate is negotiable dependant on experience
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
