A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employment Solicitor (circa 5+ PQE) to join a specialist boutique litigation practice based in Kings Hill on a part-time basis (3-4 days per week). This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Employment Solicitor to become part of a growing and highly regarded dispute resolution firm known for providing innovative, commercially focused and strategic legal advice to both businesses and individuals. The firm has built an excellent reputation for its client-focused approach and commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for clients.
The successful Employment Solicitor will work closely with an experienced team of litigators, advising on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters while playing an active role in the continued growth of the practice.
Key Responsibilities- Advising employers and employees on a wide range of employment law matters
- Managing employment tribunal claims from inception through to conclusion
- Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, service agreements and staff handbooks
- Advising on disciplinary, grievance and performance management procedures
- Providing guidance on redundancy, restructuring and TUPE matters
- Advising on settlement agreements and negotiating exits
- Assisting clients with workplace investigations and employment disputes
- Delivering commercially focused and pragmatic legal advice
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Supporting business development initiatives and helping to grow the employment offering
- Working collaboratively with the wider dispute resolution team on employment-related litigation matters
- Approximately 5+ years' PQE in employment law
- Experience advising both employers and employees
- Strong technical and commercial awareness
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills
- A proactive and client-focused approach
- Strong relationship-building abilities
