An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Litigation Solicitor to join a highly regarded Legal 500-recognised law firm in Tunbridge Wells. Working alongside two experienced solicitors within a successful Dispute Resolution team, you will advise a broad client base of businesses, landlords, property owners and high-net-worth individuals on a wide range of contentious property matters. The role offers exposure to high-value and often complex disputes, together with excellent support, career development opportunities and flexible hybrid working.

The Role

  • Handle a varied caseload of property disputes, including:
    • Advising commercial landlords and tenants on breaches of covenant, forfeiture claims, service charge disputes, dilapidations and 1954 Act lease renewals
    • Acting for residential landlords on tenancy enforcement matters, including possession proceedings
    • Advising landowners on boundary disputes, easements, restrictive covenants and adverse possession claims
    • Managing High Court and County Court litigation
    • Representing clients through mediation, arbitration and other forms of ADR
    • Supporting the firm's Commercial Property and Residential Conveyancing teams
    • Participating in networking and business development activities to grow your profile and client relationships

About You

We are keen to speak with qualified solicitors who have:

  • 1-5 years' PQE with experience in property disputes
  • Strong technical knowledge of contentious property law
  • The ability to manage matters independently
  • Excellent communication and client care skills
  • A commercial and pragmatic approach
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
