Rainham, Essex | Up to £40,000 + up to 12.5% monthly bonus
Great at leading a motor team? Here’s a role where your weekends stay yours.
Running a motor insurance team means a lot of things at once. One minute you’re coaching an agent through a tricky renewal, the next you’re watching the queue, checking SLAs and making sure every call is compliant. If that’s your normal day and you’re good at it, this role gives you a team of your own and a real say in how it runs.
My client is a growing motor insurance business that wants a Team Leader who can motivate a frontline team and help shape how things are done, not just keep the numbers ticking over.
Why you’ll like it:
- Up to £40,000, depending on experience
- Monthly bonus of up to 12.5% of your monthly pay, so your team’s results pay off every month, not just once a year
- Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. No shifts, no weekends, no late finishes on the rota
- Fridays from home once training is complete, with 4 days in the Rainham, Essex office
- Private medical insurance, employee discount, casual dress and free parking
Your team, your impact:
You’ll run a frontline motor Customer Care team day to day, working alongside the Customer Care Manager and Trainer.
Your focus will be on:
- Your people: monthly 1-2-1s, regular team catch-ups and honest feedback that helps your agents grow
- Their skills: making sure they get the right training, especially on sales and renewals
- Performance: keeping SLAs on track across calls, live chat and email
- Results: helping your team win new business and keep customers, so no chance to retain one is missed
- Improvement: spotting better ways of working, with direct input into how frontline operations run
- Compliance: making sure everything meets FCA and GDPR requirements
Is this you?
You’re a Team Leader or Team Manager with recent experience in a motor insurance customer care, service or contact centre environment. This is essential, so unfortunately we can’t consider leadership experience from other sectors.
You’ve done sales or retention yourself and know how to coach others in it.
Your team would describe you as fair and supportive, but someone who holds them to account.
