The role:

As a Residential Real Estate Paralegal, you'll support an experienced fee-earner across a full caseload of conveyancing transactions, from initial instruction through to post-completion. You'll be part of a busy, proactive team handling high-quality work, with genuine liaison across clients, agents, lenders and other solicitors to keep transactions moving.

Key responsibilities:

  • Open files and carry out AML compliance checks
  • Support exchange formalities, completion and post-completion admin
  • Prepare reports on title, mortgages and searches (under supervision)
  • Raise and review enquiries on title, contract packs, searches and surveys (under supervision)
  • Liaise with clients, agents, lenders and other solicitors to progress transactions
  • Draft financial statements and invoices, and maintain internal and external systems

What you'll need to succeed as a Residential Real Estate Paralegal:

Essential:

  • Previous conveyancing support experience in a legal environment
  • A good understanding of the conveyancing process, from instruction through to completion
  • Practical experience raising enquiries, reviewing replies and drafting reports (under supervision)
  • Confidence working to deadlines, using your own initiative, and strong interpersonal skills

Desirable:

  • Relevant legal qualifications
