Our client, the leading online legal knowledge service for law firms and in-house lawyers, is looking for pensions and trusts lawyers to join its Knowledge Team. Since launching in 2017, our client has built a reputation for offering an unmatched legal knowledge service to corporate lawyers, with over 85% of the top 100 corporate law firms among its clients. The business is now expanding into new areas, including pensions and trusts.

The Opportunity

An unrivalled opportunity to join a dynamic, rapidly expanding digital business in a newly created role. You'll play an integral part in the growth of a ground-breaking legal knowledge service — instrumental in developing and building out the new Pension and Trusts Knowledge Service, with support from expert barristers from leading chambers, an experienced in-house knowledge lawyer team, and an excellent legal editorial team.

The Role

You'll be responsible for writing, reviewing, editing and maintaining first-class informative content for the new Pension and Trusts service. The role is varied, with significant scope to contribute to the service's development from inception and its interaction with other content streams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing the service over time with new topics, precedents, legislation, practical resources, and news commentary and analysis
  • Scoping, writing, reviewing and editing top-quality content, consistently applying the house style and approach
  • Maintaining and developing your own expertise, keeping up to date with legal and market developments
  • Coordinating and collaborating closely with barristers, knowledge lawyers, editors and external experts
  • Supporting customer engagement, including responding to subscribers' content queries and assessing market requirements
  • Liaising with the Development Team on technical solutions and site enhancements

About You

  • Strong technical legal knowledge of pensions and trusts law, with significant pensions and trusts experience (Bar, law firm, or knowledge lawyer background)
  • Exceptional writing skills and attention to detail, with a genuine aptitude for engaging, accessible legal copy
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Confident working independently to deadlines, while enjoying collaboration within a team
  • Flexibility to work in a dynamic, fast-moving environment and react quickly to developments
  • A desire to learn new subject areas and pick up new concepts quickly

The Package

Based at a central London office with full flexibility for remote working. Both full-time and part-time applicants will be considered. Competitive salary dependent on experience.
