Meta Data Lead - Insurance Hybrid working 2 days a month in Southampton Salary up to £80,000 DOE We're recruiting for a Metadata Lead to join a major UK organisation at a pivotal point in its data transformation journey.
Following recent acquisitions and the evolution of its enterprise data function, this is an opportunity to take ownership of the metadata capability and play a key role in shaping how data is governed, discovered and trusted across the business.
You'll own the metadata roadmap, lead the development and adoption of Collibra, work closely with business and technology stakeholders, and help embed best practice across data governance and data quality.
You'll also have the opportunity to influence major integration and migration programmes while mentoring others within the data function.
We're looking for someone with: Strong hands-on experience with Collibra (essential 5+ years) Experience with Databricks Unity Catalog A solid background in metadata management, data governance and data quality The ability to engage senior stakeholders and translate technical capability into business value Experience defining roadmaps and driving adoption across large organisations This is a high-profile role with plenty of scope to make a real impact within the enterprise data function of one of the UK’s largest insurers.
