The role: A fast-growing education business is looking for an experienced recruiter to help build a scalable tutor recruitment engine that can keep pace with demand. This is not a standard recruiter role and it is not a passive resourcing job. The business needs someone who can own attraction strategy, manage live vacancy flow, improve advert performance, screen candidates properly, build talent pools, and work closely with stakeholders across the business.
You will operate as an embedded part of the client team, working under their brand and inside their process, while being supported by an RPO partner. The focus is simple: find, engage and convert high-quality tutors across core and niche vacancies, while bringing more structure, control and commercial thinking into recruitment delivery.
What you’ll be doing:
- Own tutor sourcing activity across priority subjects, regions and demand hotspots.
- Write, improve and manage job adverts across Indeed, Reed, CV-Library, Totaljobs, LinkedIn and alternative channels.
- Run direct sourcing campaigns and build warm talent pools for future demand.
- Screen and interview candidates against agreed suitability criteria.
- Keep recruitment activity moving on both high-volume and niche roles.
- Manage advert performance and recommend when to sponsor, repost, refresh or switch channels.
- Work closely with leadership, operations, marketing and commercial stakeholders.
- Support referral activity, employer branding and localised attraction campaigns.
- Provide clear weekly reporting on funnel health, conversion and hiring risks.
- Use market insight to challenge briefs, improve results and reduce wasted spend.
What we’re looking for:
- Must be an experienced recruiter 8+ years with a strong track record in delivery, not just coordination.
- Must have experience in either education, SEND, tutoring, schools sectors.
- Must be available to start a new role in the next 4 weeks.
- Someone comfortable working across both strategy and execution.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience of job board management, sourcing, screening and talent pooling.
- A data-led mindset with the ability to spot what is and is not working.
- Someone proactive, resourceful and commercially aware.
Why this role is different:
This role has real scope. You won’t just post adverts and wait. You’ll be expected to think, advise, improve and drive outcomes. That means managing the detail, solving hard-to-fill problems, supporting hiring decisions and helping the client build a recruitment model that is more proactive, more controlled and less dependent on reactive hiring.
About the business:
This is a growing education organisation that is scaling its delivery model and needs recruitment support that can grow with it. The business wants a recruiter who can combine hands-on delivery with commercial thinking and help build a more repeatable, effective hiring engine.
Apply:
This role would suit a senior recruiter who likes solving real delivery problems, is comfortable working in a scaling environment, and wants to play a meaningful role in building a recruitment function that directly supports growth.
