Job Description
Senior Pricing Analyst – Modelling
Location: Flexible Hybrid (Manchester)
Salary: £65,000 – £75,000 + Bonus + Benefits

We're looking for a Senior Pricing Analyst to join the growing team. In this role, you'll apply your technical skills to develop cutting-edge pricing models and influence strategic decisions that shape the future of the business.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading development of pricing models using Emblem and/or Radar, with a focus on robust, efficient, and commercially valuable outputs
- Acting as a technical expert in predictive modelling and best practice pricing methodology
- Coaching and mentoring team members, championing high standards across the modelling function
- Advising Pricing Managers and leadership on modelling strategy and opportunities
- Deputising for the Pricing Manager and Head of Pricing where required
- Staying ahead of industry trends and advancing modelling techniques across the team
What You'll Bring
- Experience in general insurance pricing (Home or Motor) with a strong modelling focus
- Proficiency in techniques such as Logistic Regression, GBMs, Elastic Net, GAMs, Decision Trees, Random Forests, Neural Nets, Clustering
- Skilled in R, Python, PySpark, SAS, SQL, or similar tools
- Expertise with Emblem or Radar
- Degree in a quantitative discipline (Maths, Stats, Engineering, Physics, Actuarial Science, etc.)
- Ability to communicate complex technical work in a clear, commercial way
