This Senior Pricing Analyst role is focused on improving pricing performance through data enrichment and advanced modelling across Retail Motor and Household Insurance.
What you’ll be doing:
- Sourcing, testing and quantifying the impact of new (and existing) datasets on pricing outcomes
- Creating predictive features and building models that improve risk differentiation
- Developing reliable pipelines that feed live rating and ELR processes
- Partnering with model owners and pricing stakeholders to translate analysis into usable change
- Supporting supplier/data-provider governance, including contractual and usage considerations
- Building practical measurement frameworks to prove the value of new data inputs
What we’re looking for:
- Strong modelling capability and hands-on experience with Python, R, SAS and/or SQL
- Experience working with third-party/external data and embedding it into analytical workflows
- Numerate background (2:1 or above in a relevant subject)
- Clear communicator, comfortable bridging technical work and business decision-making
- Organised, delivery-focused, and curious about modern ML/statistical techniques
