Role responsibilities
- Own portfolio strategy setting underwriting direction beyond individual risks.
- Be the technical go-to in order to guide the team on complex underwriting calls.
- Shape policy wordings and docs that are clear, compliant, and customer-friendly.
- Partner with Governance to embed robust controls and regulatory compliance.
- Build and evolve underwriting rules, guidelines, and MI.
- Champion a high-performance, collaborative culture with internal teams and insurers.
Your experience
- Deep home insurance and portfolio underwriting expertise is a MUST.
- Strong data/analytical experience and be a pro at turning insight into action.
- Proven experience building and monitoring underwriting rules and controls.
- Sound judgement, problem-solving mindset, and adaptability in fast-moving environments.
- A can-do, customer-first attitude and great stakeholder skills.
