An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Large Loss Personal Injury Claims Handler to join a well-respected motor insurance organisation handling complex, high-value motor claims.
This role is ideally suited to someone who thrives in a technical claims environment, enjoys strategic case management, and has experience handling a busy portfolio of catastrophic or large loss personal injury files.
The RoleYou will manage a portfolio of complex motor personal injury claims valued in excess of £1 million, taking ownership from inception through to resolution. Working closely with panel solicitors and key stakeholders, you will drive claims forward strategically and efficiently while delivering fair and commercially sound outcomes.
The successful candidate will be comfortable managing a caseload of approximately 80–100 files at any one time and will possess strong investigative, analytical, and negotiation skills. You should have the ability to handle claims on an end-to-end basis from initial investigation through to settlement and apply strong technical knowledge across indemnity, litigation, and motor claims principles.

- Experience managing a live caseload of approximately 80–100 files
- Strong understanding of motor claims handling, indemnity principles, and litigation processes

- The ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and make sound commercial decisions

- An insurer background handling large loss motor PI claims, or
- A legal background, including claimant or defendant personal injury experience, provided you have managed complex £1 million+ motor injury matters.
