We are partnering with a leading international law firm to recruit a Banking Knowledge Lawyer / Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) to join its highly regarded Banking Knowledge team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Banking & Finance solicitor looking to leverage their technical expertise in a strategic, non-fee-earning role.
Working closely with partners and lawyers across the practice, you will play a key role in shaping best practice, delivering training, developing know-how resources and supporting innovation initiatives. The role offers broad exposure across a diverse range of finance disciplines, including corporate and leveraged finance, real estate finance, infrastructure, project and asset finance, and restructuring.
The Role
- Acting as a trusted technical resource for lawyers across the Banking practice
- Developing, maintaining and enhancing precedents, guidance notes and know-how materials
- Designing and delivering engaging internal training programmes
- Monitoring legal and market developments and providing practical, commercially focused updates
- Supporting knowledge management initiatives and driving continuous improvement across the team
- Collaborating with partners and senior stakeholders to improve processes, efficiency and knowledge-sharing tools
About You
- Qualified Solicitor status in England & Wales
- Strong Banking & Finance experience gained within private practice
- Excellent technical knowledge across a broad range of finance transactions
- Experience in, or a genuine interest in, knowledge management, training and PSL work
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
- A proactive, collaborative approach and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement
