Head of Insights & Reporting

Location: UK (Hybrid) | Full-time | £90k – £120k basic salary d.o.e + benefits

We're looking for an experienced Head of Insights & Reporting to lead the insights and BI strategy across the UK and EU. In this high-impact role, you’ll turn complex data into actionable insights, drive strategic decisions, and manage a growing BI team.

You will be managing 3 mid-level BI Analysts, 2 in London and 1 off shore.

This role is more than reporting, it is driving the insights from the data through Internal and external stakeholders. You will run the weekly 'War Room' providing the insights to the Commercial and Insurance heads – these meetings can require some healthy challenges and debate to be managed!

What you’ll do:

• Lead insights, reporting, and business analysis across the business.
• Build advanced dashboards using SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Deliver clear, actionable insights to senior leadership.
• Oversee data governance, reporting standards, and automation.
• Mentor and grow a high-performing BI team.

What you’ll bring:

• 8+ years in BI/Analytics & Insight, ideally 4+ years in leadership.
• Strong SQL skills; Python is also essential
• Expertise in data visualisation and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience in regulated industries. Insurance experience is preferred, finance considered.
• Strategic thinker with strong communication skills.
