This is a great opportunity to step into a high-profile Senior Manager role leading group external reporting and consolidation for a large, regulated organisation.

The role

Reporting to the Head of Financial Control, you’ll own the Group Annual Report & Accounts, lead complex consolidations under IFRS, and manage the relationship with the external auditors. You’ll also oversee subsidiary financial statements, regulatory reporting (FCA), and drive technical accounting projects, from new standards implementation to accounting for acquisitions and reorganisations.

As a key technical expert, you’ll provide IFRS guidance across Finance, ensuring the highest standards of reporting accuracy and compliance in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.

What you’ll bring

  • ACA / ACCA qualified (Big 4 / Top 10) with strong post-qualification experience in industry (at least 1 or 2 year-end cycles)
  • Deep understanding of IFRS and UK GAAP, including preparation of consolidated financial statements.
  • Proven ability to lead audits.
  • Experience delivering regulatory returns and liaising with external auditors and senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable experience in writing technical accounting papers.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and resilience through intense reporting cycles.
  • Experience in financial services or a regulated environment is highly desirable.
  • Confident team leader with a track record of coaching and developing finance professionals.
