Primarily remote | Offices based in South East, London or North West

I'm looking for an experienced Technical Pricing professional to join a growing pricing function with a focus on Motor, particularly Commercial Vehicle. This suits someone who enjoys combining technical pricing, data science, model development and stakeholder influence. You’ll play a key role in improving pricing capability, developing risk models, enhancing reporting and supporting the wider pricing and underwriting strategy.

The role will involve:

  • Owning and improving pricing processes across Motor / Commercial Vehicle
  • Developing risk models using traditional and machine learning techniques
  • Improving automated pricing performance monitoring and reporting
  • Working with Data Science / Machine Learning teams on data ingestion, modelling and model monitoring
  • Exploring new data sources and building innovative rating features
  • Communicating pricing insight and recommendations to senior stakeholders
  • Coaching and mentoring team members

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in general insurance pricing, ideally Motor but will consider Home.
  • Strong modelling knowledge, including GLMs, GBMs, GAMs, etc.
  • Programming experience in Python, PySpark, R, SAS and/or SQL
  • WTW Radar experience would be highly advantageous
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence pricing, underwriting and data science stakeholders
  • A quantitative degree would be preferred but is not essential
