A highly respected coastal law firm are currently seeking a Commercial Property Trainee Paralegal to join its property team in East Sussex. It’s a great opportunity for a bright graduate who wants hands-on experience while working towards the SQE.
The role
As a Commercial Property Trainee Paralegal, you’ll work closely with two Partners and support them across a varied caseload. Your duties will include:
- Preparing and drafting routine documents and correspondence
- Carrying out searches, Land Registry applications and post-completion work
- Keeping files organised and up to date
- Liaising with clients, other law firms and third parties
- Assisting with research and general matter support
This Commercial Property Trainee Paralegal role is built to grow. As your confidence and knowledge build, the aim is for you to develop into a junior fee earner, running your own work under supervision.
About you
The ideal Commercial Property Trainee Paralegal will be:
- A bright, motivated graduate (at least 2:1)
- Keen to pursue the SQE and build a long-term career in law
- Interested in commercial property work
- Well organised, with strong attention to detail
- A clear, confident communicator, both in writing and on the phone
- Based within a comfortable commute of the office in East Sussex
Previous legal experience would help, but it isn’t essential. The right attitude and a willingness to learn matter most.
