Youth Development Worker (x2 Temporary Roles)
Location: Redruth, Pool, and Penzance, Cornwall
Salary: Β£14.82 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary (Approx. 8 Weeks but could be extended)
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week on a rolling rota (including weekends and bank holidays)
Working Pattern: Four-week rolling rota with shifts between 8am and 10pm
DBS Requirement: Enhanced Adult & Child
Are you passionate about supporting young people to unlock their potential and build brighter futures? We\’re looking for two dedicated Youth Development Workers to join a team that provide supported accommodation for young people aged 16-25.
Responsibilities Of The Youth Development Worker Will Include
- Deliver personalised key worker support and life skills coaching.
- Conduct and update risk assessments and management plans.
- Facilitate 1-to-1 sessions focused on personal development and goal setting.
- Support young people in attending medical appointments.
- Participate in multi-agency meetings to develop effective action plans.
- Lead group activities that foster community and engagement.
The Successful Youth Development Worker Will Have
- Right to work in the UK (we are unable to offer visa sponsorship).
- Enhanced DBS check (Adult & Child).
- Full driving license and access to a car
