Painter & Decorator in Chesterfield. Full Time | Temporary (3 months initially). £20-£22 per hour (negotiable depending on experience). Weekly pay. 37.5 hours per week. Our client, a well-established social housing provider, is looking for a skilled and reliable Painter & Decorator to join their Property Services / Maintenance Team on an initial 3-month contract.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out planned painting and decorating works within social housing properties
- Preparing surfaces, including removing old decorations where required
- Applying paint and finishes such as stains, varnish, or lacquer using appropriate tools
- Working to health & safety standards at all times
- Ensuring properties are completed to a high standard and within timescales
About You
- Proven experience in painting and decorating, ideally within social housing or similar environments
- City & Guilds Advanced Craft qualification or equivalent hands-on experience
- Full UK driving licence and ability to drive a company vehicle
- Reliable, professional, and confident working independently or as part of a team
