Daily Duties Of The Interim Damp And Disrepair Manager
- Support the Head of Service and other managers in leading teams that deal with complaints, disrepair and damp and mould issues
- Assist with the management of the damp and mould and disrepair teams
- Ensure all claims and legislative issues within Repairs and Maintenance are successfully investigated and completed in accordance with the necessary timescales
- Monitor the work of a variety of different trades teams & contractors from start through to completion
- Provide a professional service and provide expert witness advice and reports to a range of officers in relation to technical housing matters
Essential Requirements Of The Interim Damp And Disrepair Manager
- Educated to degree level in building surveying, environmental health or other relevant building construction degree
- Excellent knowledge of disrepair in housing to include legislation, regulation, best practice, improvements, and technological developments
- Previously worked within Social Housing
