Housing Officer

£22 – £26 per hour (Negotiable)

Do you want to work in a dynamic role dealing with income, tenancies, and housing management?

Our client, an organisation based in Gloucestershire, is looking for a Housing Officer to assist in a service providing advice and information to their customers locally. The role is site-based due to visiting clients in your designated area.

Responsibilities of the Housing Officer will include, but are not limited to:

1. Delivering an effective housing management service, including tenancy management and enforcement
2. Supporting the delivery of an effective income collection service where needed
3. Dealing with elements of Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB)
4. Undertaking an effective lettings service where needed
5. Supporting the provision of an effective void, repairs, and maintenance service
6. Assisting the property maintenance team with stock condition surveys
7. Undertaking property viewings
8. Ensuring all activities are within budgetary constraints, including estate services expenditure

Requirements for the Successful Housing Officer Candidate:

1. Experience within a Housing, Tenancy, or Neighbourhoods role
2. Access to a vehicle with business insurance
3. An in-date Enhanced DBS check
