About The Role
As a Functional Assessor, you'll use your clinical expertise to assess how health conditions impact people's daily lives and ability to work. It's a role that blends medical knowledge with meaningful human connection, giving you the chance to support individuals while contributing to a fair and compassionate benefits system.
You’ll carry out assessments both face-to-face and via video or phone, taking detailed medical histories and conducting physical examinations. Your findings will help inform accurate, high‐quality reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). You'll be trusted to work independently, but also part of a supportive multi‐disciplinary team that values collaboration and continuous learning. About You
- You’ll be a qualified healthcare professional with a passion for making a difference.

- A registered Nurse, Learning Disability Nurse or Mental Health Nurse with at least 12 months' post‐registration UK experience.
