What You’ll Do

  • We’re looking for NMC‑registered RGN nurses to support patients receiving oncology therapies.
  • Responsibilities include:
  • Carry out clinical assessment of patient needs, train patients or carers to self‑medicate, ensure home is suitable for IV oncology treatment.
  • Provide support over the phone, at a clinic and at patient’s home.
  • When with patient in person, change dressings, administer IV oncology medications, and complete blood transfusions (or arrange for them to be performed by a qualified nurse).
  • Serve as bridge between patient and hospital, putting patient at the heart of work.

Who You Are

  • NMC‑registered RGN part 1 nurse with chemotherapy delivery qualification and relevant experience.
  • Capable of giving oncology medication, undertaking clinical assessments and taking care of IV devices.
  • Good understanding of NHS patient management.
  • Dedicated, empathetic, and able to put patient at heart of work.
