Due to continued growth, Gerald Honey Partnership are pleased to announce vacancies in the South of the UK. The ideal candidate will have minimum 15-20 years experience within the Lift Industry and will have, as a minimum NVQ levels 3/4, or equivalent. This is a full‑time hybrid role located in the South of the UK with flexibility for some remote work.
As a Consulting Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting lift system surveys and writing technical specifications
- Providing project management support
- Liaising with contractors
- Commissioning authorisation/certification
- Quality verification
- Technical support
- Preparing reports with recommendations for clients
- Maintaining client relationships and ensuring that clients receive excellent customer service
Qualifications:
- Strong technical knowledge of lift systems
- Experience in conducting lift system surveys and writing technical specifications
- Experience in project management support and liaison with contractors
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical issues and provide technical support for clients
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Knowledge of relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards
- NVQ levels 3/4, or equivalent
- A minimum of 15-20 years experience within the Lift Industry
