What you will do

About the Role:

As a Value Advisor for GEP Worldwide, you will be responsible for working with potential and existing customers to help them realize the value of our solutions. This strategic role involves engaging with C-level executives and senior stakeholders to assess their business challenges, identify solutions, and create compelling business cases for digital transformation initiatives through our offerings.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Client Engagement: Engage with C-level executives and senior decision-makers to understand their procurement and supply chain challenges, focusing on spend management, supplier collaboration, and procurement optimization
  • Value Assessment: Lead the discovery process with customers to assess their current state and quantify potential business value from GEP implementations, including savings, process efficiency, and supplier collaboration improvements.
  • Business Case Development: Build comprehensive business cases and ROI models to justify investments in our solutions. Present and articulate the value proposition to executive stakeholders.
  • Advisory Services: Provide strategic advisory services, guiding customers on procurement and supply chain transformation initiatives. Identify opportunities for value creation through digital procurement solutions.
  • Thought Leadership: Act as a subject matter expert on procurement best practices. Participate in industry events, webinars, and white papers to showcase thought leadership.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, pre-sales, product management, and consulting teams to align on customer objectives and deliver the best possible outcomes.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends, procurement challenges, and emerging technologies to provide relevant insights to clients.

What you should bring

  • 10+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or related fields, with a focus on digital transformation and value-based selling.
  • Strong advisory and consulting skills, with experience engaging C-level executives and guiding strategic decisions in procurement or supply chain.
  • Ability to develop and articulate ROI models and business cases. Understanding of key financial metrics and their impact on procurement decisions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a simple and compelling manner.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. MBA or relevant certifications preferred.
