Responsibilities
- Providing technical leadership and team management to deliver work packages effectively.
- Coordinating and communicating on complex engineering problems between project stakeholders.
- Providing technical review and responding to site queries and requested changes in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment to support contractor activities on HPC site.
- Conducting and reviewing analysis of structures carried out in FEM packages (experience in using Ansys beneficial).
- Providing technical oversight of reinforcement detailers and reviewing detailing models and drawings.
- Providing expert oversight and technical direction to teams completing the design of reinforced concrete structures.
- Developing strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Supporting the business development team during the tendering process for our future project stream.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Chartered with the ICE, IStructE, or with equivalent experience and willingness to obtain.
- Experience in the use of Ansys or equivalent structural FEM software.
- Experience in reinforced concrete calculation and design.
- Working familiarity with relevant technical Codes of Practice and Industry Standards (Eurocodes, British Standard, and ETC‑C the applicable code for HPC/SZC).

- Experience working in a highly regulated industry based in the UK, e.g. nuclear.
