We are looking for an Insights & Integrations Consultancy Data Scientist who transforms complex data into clear, business‑impactful insights that drive portfolio expansion, retention, and real‑world outcomes for fleet operators worldwide. The role sits at the intersection of data science, customer consultancy, and sustainability, and requires a passion for sustainability and clean transportation.

As an Insights & Integrations Consultancy Data Scientist, you will partner with strategic accounts to drive ecosystem expansion and retention, translating analysis into business impact for fleet managers, executives, and non‑technical stakeholders. Your day‑to‑day tasks include:

  • Designing and delivering Big Data dashboards and analytics tools
  • Maintaining Airflow pipelines and SQL/Python scripts
  • Developing proof‑of‑concepts and customer‑tailored algorithms and predictive models
  • Representing Geotab as a thought leader at industry events

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the Geotab ecosystem, serving as SME to empower end‑users and partners
  • Engage and collaborate with partners and end‑users to optimize their utilization of Geotab technology
  • Contribute partner and end‑user feedback to drive continuous improvement of Geotab products
  • Create and optimize data‑driven dashboards for cross‑functional use, facilitating informed decision‑making
  • Ensure partner and end‑user satisfaction through prompt and accurate service
  • Collaborate with revenue‑generating teams to identify and deliver effective solutions for customer challenges
  • Support partner upskilling to achieve excellence across unique channels
  • Develop and implement proof‑of‑concepts to demonstrate feasibility and effectiveness
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and market demands
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, solutions, and outcomes
  • Deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to customers
  • Provide technical support and answer queries throughout the sales cycle
  • Design customized solutions or configurations based on customer requirements
  • Assist with technical inquiries from potential customers prior to sale
  • Provide analytics‑based consulting, including customer‑tailored algorithms and predictive models
  • Maintain Airflow pipelines for continual data analysis combining SQL queries and Python scripts
  • Design, maintain, and deliver Big Data dashboards and tools; resolve issues and fulfill change requests

What you’ll bring to this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent)
  • 3–5 years of experience in a customer‑facing technical role (Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Integration Engineering, Software Development, Data Science, etc.)
  • 1–3 years of hands‑on experience with SQL (Google BigQuery preferred) and data science tools (Python, pandas, NumPy)
  • Experience working with large data environments and data modeling/data‑warehouse concepts
  • Data visualization skills, particularly in Power BI or Tableau
  • Technical knowledge of telematics, IoT, APIs, and related technologies; hardware integration experience is a bonus
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences
  • Effective problem‑solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Customer‑focused mindset with strong time management and organizational skills
  • Desire to stay current with emerging technology and adapt to evolving market demands
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time internationally; valid passport required
