Geotab is seeking a Marketing Intern who will work closely with the EMEA Marketing team to collaborate on, develop, and execute strategies that directly impact how our brand and partners interact with the market. What you'll do

  • Collaborate with the regional marketing team and external agencies to support business growth across events, content, digital, and PR.
  • Develop content briefs, manage data for lead capture, audit databases for accuracy, and assist with the scheduling and analysis of social media and email marketing campaigns.
  • Work closely with the Sales team to improve the digital presence of our Partners through co‑marketing programs while maintaining internal documentation and the departmental Wiki.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a motivated individual with excellent French and English communication skills and the ability to quickly understand complex, technical concepts. In addition, the successful candidate will be a proactive problem‑solver with strong Google Suite skills, capable of managing multiple projects and priorities to ensure timely, high‑impact results.

The opportunity

12‑month work‑term beginning May 2026. Full‑time, paid internship: Monday – Friday.

How you'll make an impact

  • Content review and brief development.
  • Event administration: assist with general event tasks as required, including managing data for leads captured.
  • Data administration: audit database for accuracy, and liaise with internal teams to ensure data is kept accurate.
  • Email marketing: assist with collecting content contributions, proofreading and testing.
  • Process workflows: assist with internal processes to raise brand and creative requests and approvals.
  • Maintain all internal and external documents and marketing materials.
  • Explore new ways to improve existing processes such as document control, and internal communications.
  • Internal communications: coordinate and amplify internal announcements.
  • Social media: assist with scheduling and editing content.
  • Support the Marketing activities for the Sales team to ensure Partners improve their social/digital presence (co‑marketing programme).
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external support agencies to develop and successfully execute segment activity including global advertising planning (media, creative and content), PR, product launches, events, and reseller/channel campaigns and programmes.
  • Responsible for the contribution and maintenance of the departmental WIKI.

What you'll bring to the role

  • Marketing, Journalism, Media, Communications, Business or other relevant degree.
  • Excellent French and English oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills (any other language will be considered a plus).
  • Strong business writing skills and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to analyze different data sets and develop insights from this data.
  • Must be highly organized, task‑oriented, and have a strong ability to self‑manage.
  • Must be interested and willing to learn about Geotab technology.
  • Good knowledge of digital marketing.
  • Technical competence using software programs, including, but not limited to, Google Suite for business (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
  • A strong team player with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization.
  • Proactivity in taking initiative and problem‑solving.
