Geotab is seeking an Insights & Integrations Consultancy Data Scientist who will be responsible for transforming complex data into clear, business-impactful insights that drive portfolio expansion, retention, and real-world outcomes for fleet operators around the world. This role sits at the intersection of data science, customer consultancy, and sustainability — where your ability to communicate the why behind the data matters as much as the analysis itself. What you’ll do:
- Partner with strategic accounts to drive ecosystem expansion and retention.
- Translate technical analysis into business impact that resonates with fleet managers, executives, and non-technical stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain deep expertise across the Geotab platform.
- Engage directly with partners and end-users to optimize their use of Geotab's technology.
- Present data-driven insights that clearly demonstrate ROI, cost savings, and efficiency gains.
- Design and deliver Big Data dashboards and analytics tools.
- Maintain Airflow pipelines for continual data analysis using SQL and Python.
- Develop proof of concepts and solve complex business problems through customer-tailored algorithms and predictive models.
- Represent Geotab as a thought leader at industry events and trade shows.
- Work closely with Account and Engagement Managers within Geotab's Sales Channels.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the Geotab ecosystem.
- Engage and collaborate with partners and end-users to optimize their utilization of Geotab's technology.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company’s offerings.

- Ensure partner and end-user satisfaction through prompt and accurate service.
- Collaborate with the Geotab revenue generating teams to identify and deliver effective solutions for customer challenges.
- Support Geotab's partner upskilling.

- Keep accurate records of customer interactions, solution designs, and outcomes.
- Deliver compelling technical presentations and demonstrations to customers.
- Work closely with the sales team and fellow engineers throughout the sales cycle.
- Solve complex business problems by providing analytics or analytics-based consulting.
- Maintain airflow pipelines for continual data analysis.
- Design, maintain and deliver Big Data dashboards and tools.
What you’ll bring to this role:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in a relevant customer-facing technical role.
- 1–3 years of hands‑on experience with SQL and data science tools.
- Experience working with large data environments.
- Data visualization skills, particularly in dashboarding platforms such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Technical knowledge of telematics, IoT, APIs, and related technologies.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Effective problem‑solving and critical thinking abilities.
- A customer-focused mindset with strong time management and organizational skills.
- Desire to stay current with emerging technology.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time internationally; valid passport required.
