Geosyntec has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Proposals & Marketing Specialist. The role involves preparing and assembling written and visual information for client presentations, leading the production of proposals/SOQs, including editing and graphics, and ensuring on-time delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying and monitoring proposal/SOQ criteria to ensure compliance and targeted win themes.
- Maintaining scheduling and tracking systems for individual pursuit and proposal elements.
- Assisting in developing pursuit plans and client outreach activities ahead of RFP release.
- Tracking pre-submittal meeting schedules and attendees, identifying decision-makers.
- Maintaining systems to extract, categorise, and retrieve information related to clients, consultants, personnel, projects, prior proposals, boilerplate, visuals, and mailing lists.
- Managing the Branch’s procurement platform initiatives.
- Preparing proposal/SOQ story-boards and demonstrating writing proficiency.
- Coordinating and supporting the implementation of targeted marketing campaigns.
- Conducting research related to competitors and relevant corporate experience.
- Coordinating new business opportunities and client information into the CRM platform.
Education and Licensure:
Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of proposals experience in a professional services environment (e.g. engineering, architecture, construction, legal).
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
- Experience with the production of technical proposals and reports.
- Working knowledge of production techniques to support proposal, presentation, or other sales and marketing activities.
- Formatting, writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.
- Advanced computer literacy using MS applications and Desktop Publishing Software (e.g. Adobe Suite, including Acrobat, InDesign, Office Professional, Outlook).
- Windows proficiency including MS Professional (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Ability to understand and follow complex oral and written instructions.
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently to perform effectively under tight deadlines.
