Geosyntec has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Proposals & Marketing Specialist to join our growing UK & Ireland business in Manchester or Delph. This position is predominantly proposal-focused, supporting UK & Ireland and wider European management teams in the development of high-quality proposal content, alongside the creation of targeted marketing and branding materials.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Coordinate all aspects of the competitive proposal preparation - from initial planning through to delivery.
- Act on and filter data related to clients; competitors; past, current, and prospective markets; and relevant corporate experience by distributing to technical and marketing leads.
- Prepare and assemble written and visual information for client presentations.
- Lead production of proposals/SOQs, including editing and graphics; prepare for digital and/or print reproduction and ensure on-time delivery.
- Identify and monitor proposal/SOQ criteria, ensure response is fully compliant and win themes are targeted.
- Maintain scheduling and tracking systems for individual pursuit and proposal elements and update technical/marketing teams on status.
- Assist in developing pursuit plans and client outreach activities ahead of RFP release.
- Identify needed content from team and consultants, integrate onto pursuit platforms (local drives, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams folders) and organise and inform pursuit teams of the organisation.
- Track pre-submittal meeting schedules and attendees, identify decision-makers, including pink-red team reviews.
- Maintain systems to extract, categorise, and retrieve information related to clients, consultants, personnel, projects, prior proposals, boilerplate, visuals, and mailing lists.
- Work with BD leaders to help manage seller-doer schedules to identify client RFP calendars.
- Manage the Branch’s procurement platform initiatives (identify platforms [e.g., BidSync], register accounts, select appropriate categories, monitor email/solicitation details, coordinate with appropriate technical staff for go/no-go bid opportunities).
- Prepare proposal/SOQ story-boards, demonstrate writing proficiency.
- Work with technical teams to create compelling and informative content, demonstrating our position as thought leader in focus areas.
- Coordinate and support implementation of targeted marketing campaigns for the branch/region/company as needed (assist with strategy development, approach/method, help identify and/or create campaign materials such as videos, brochures, PDs, etc. and support the debrief of analytics and lead follow-up).
- Conduct research related to competitors; past, current, and prospective markets; and relevant corporate experience.
- Coordinate getting new business opportunities and client information into CRM platform.
- Assist with graphics, writing, and proofreading.
- Coordinate and support implementation of targeted marketing campaigns for the branch/region/company as needed.
Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of proposals experience in a professional services environment (e.g. engineering, architecture, construction, legal).
Skills, Experience and Qualifications- Experience with the production of technical proposals and reports.
- Working knowledge of production techniques to support proposal, presentation, or other sales and marketing activities.
- Formatting, writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.
- Advanced computer literacy using MS applications and Desktop Publishing Software (e.g. Adobe Suite, including Acrobat, InDesign, Office Professional, Outlook).
- Windows proficiency including, MS Professional (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and typing ability.
- Ability to understand and follow complex oral and written instructions.
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently to perform effectively under tight deadlines.
