About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Level 3 Engineer to join our team and take the lead on complex IT projects. In this senior role, you will not just be fixing problems. You will be designing advanced solutions, mentoring junior engineers, and helping businesses run more efficiently through technology.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Providing Level 3 technical support for escalated issues across servers, networks, and cloud infrastructure
  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced IT solutions including network architecture, virtualization, and cloud migrations
  • Leading troubleshooting for critical incidents to minimise downtime
  • Developing automation scripts or tools to streamline system administration
  • Analysing recurring issues and implementing preventive solutions
  • Mentoring and training Level 1 and Level 2 engineers
  • Collaborating with clients to understand their business needs and recommend tailored IT solutions
  • Staying up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies
  • Taking part in an on-call rotation for critical after-hours support

What You Must Have

  • At least 5 years’ professional experience in IT support
  • Deep knowledge of networking protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, or VPN
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365
  • Full UK driving licence

What Will Help You Stand Out

  • Advanced Windows server administration skills
  • Experience with network architecture, firewalls, routing, and SD-WAN
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash for automation
  • Strong project management skills and experience leading IT initiatives
  • Industry certifications such as CCNA, MCSE, or AWS Solutions Architect
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
