As an Accounting Manager you will be tasked with performing a wide variety of accounting duties and responsibilities in an efficient, timely and accurate manner in an environment that is fast paced and ever changing to meet the needs of our business. You will be partnering with company leadership, project management, estimating and more to meet the crucial needs of our business.
Responsibilities:
- Management of general ledger, annual audits, and month end process
- Lead technical accounting research
- Coach and develop a team of accountants, fostering a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement and high performance
- Manage the execution and review of key accounts and transaction cycles
- Assist in the development and execution of integration of newly acquired business units
- Assist with ad hoc accounting tasks, reporting and projects as needed
- Help develop internal controls around core accounting functions across the organization
- Analyze project financial performance for accuracy, profit risks and opportunities and cashflow
- Work closely with finance leadership regarding business unit financial performance
- Monthly Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations
- Support tax planning and compliance efforts, collaborating with internal teams and external advisors
Qualifications:
- Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or similar; 5+ years of experience in accounting; Experience leading, managing and developing teams; Strong Excel skills; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues, and drive resolution
- Preferred Qualifications: CPA license; Experience running month end; Vista by Viewpoint experience; Experience with integration of new business units; Public Accounting background
This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule. Employees will be expected to work in the Westminster, CO office 3 days per week on Tuesday, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The expected base pay range for this position in the Westminster area is $109,600 - $129,700. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential bonus or benefits.
