This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager/Associate Director to join the Transfer Pricing team of a Big 4 firm in any one of the following locations: Manchester, Leeds, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Liverpool, Newcastle, Cardiff. Role and Responsibilities
- Work within the Transfer Pricing Team, mainly project-based, involving multinational companies.
- Manage transfer pricing risk for clients.
- Undertake transfer pricing planning and pricing implementation.
- Coordinate European and global transfer pricing engagements with specialists across our global network.
- Support companies through all elements of business change and value chain transformation.
- Prepare and negotiate Advance Pricing Agreements on behalf of clients.
- Assist clients with tax audits from HMRC and transfer pricing defence strategies.
- Prepare transfer pricing documentation for planning or compliance purposes.
The successful candidate will have day-to-day responsibility for managing project work and ongoing client relationships, winning and developing work across all aspects of transfer pricing and value chain transformation. As an Associate Director, you would be expected to manage and develop more junior members of the team.
Skills and Experience
- A sound academic background with extensive experience advising multinational clients on transfer pricing.
- Wider experience of other corporate tax or related international issues is an advantage.
- A self-starter with the ability to manage a variety of projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with external clients and other teams.
- Technical expertise to devise innovative and practical solutions to client problems.
- Proven experience in business development and marketing.
- An effective delegator, strong at coaching junior staff.
- Demonstrable ability to organise, prioritise and plan workloads.
Key to this role is its advisory nature rather than TP documentation based. This firm can offer full or part-time working and flexible hours. Would consider a manager looking for senior manager promotion.
