Our client is a multi-award winning, large independent firm with an established tax team. They deal with a diverse clientele that ranges from dynamic OMB's to large corporate groups. As part of their expansion, they seek a qualified tax senior or Assistant Manager for a corporate tax role with a focus on compliance management. There is the scope to also assist with ad-hoc advisory work.
Based in the firm's Cardiff office, day to day your role would include:
- Fully supervising a portfolio of clients, taking responsibility of all aspects of tax including compliance and ad hoc project work as it arises.
- Producing the tax disclosures for the financial statements.
- Researching and understanding technical matters and presenting them in a comprehensible and practical way.
- Reviewing computations prepared by more junior staff and liaising with specialists on technical matters.
