Our client is a large international group. They seek a VAT manager to join their in-house team. This role is office based from Crewe and would suit an Indirect Tax Manager with experience of large group work. This team is advisory focused and has indirect tax responsibilities for over 80 legal entities across the UK, Europe, Asia and US. They are responsible for delivering high quality VAT advice to the business, shaping the Group’s VAT strategy, and driving risk management and operational efficiencies. This team provides expert guidance to support commercial decision making, including advising on new business offerings, cross border transactions, and complex VAT matters. It also supports the Tax compliance team on tax treatment questions.
The role focuses on supporting the business on UK/EU VAT matters, identifying indirect tax risks, enhancing controls, and driving process improvements. The successful candidate will provide advisory support across the organisation and contribute to the development of a robust VAT framework.
An excellent opportunity which would suit a manager or senior manager from a large practice or industry. 4 day week considered.
