Well regarded long standing independent firm is looking for a new tax hire. You will need a background in UK mixed or personal tax. As Tax Senior, you will be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of personal tax clients, from sole traders, property investors to simple directors of owner managed businesses, with the opportunity to work with larger more complex clients.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Processing self-assessment and personal tax returns efficiently and accurately.
- Preparing and completing P11D forms.
- Communicating with colleagues from other departments, clients, and HMRC by telephone, email, and in writing where required.
- Ad-hoc assistance with tax queries and projects.
Skills and Experience:
- CTA qualification (or be nearing qualification).
- Proven experience within an accountancy practice, with the ability to manage client relationships independently.
- Strong technical expertise in personal tax and capital allowances for sole traders and partnerships.
- Sound tax advisory knowledge. Owner managed businesses and families covering IHT, CGT, Income Tax and Company Tax issues is desirable but not essential.
- Experience of corporate restructuring desirable but not essential.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Proficiency in self-assessment software essential.
