Senior Corporate Tax Manager

Overview

Our client is a long-established independent firm of accountants. They seek a corporate tax professional at senior manager level.

Qualifications

• ACA, CTA or ICAS qualified
• a good mix of advisory and compliance management experience

Responsibilities

• Advisory work will include corporate finance and financial planning, and you will collaborate with colleagues in corporate finance, cross-referencing work with other teams.
• There is an opportunity to play a key role in practice development activities, such as writing thought leadership pieces, delivering presentations, and attending networking events.
• You will also need experience of managing and mentoring more junior staff.

Work arrangement

Whilst the role requires excellent time management skills to meet a variety of strict deadlines, there is scope for flexible, part-time and hybrid working. This role provides good opportunities for progression while maintaining a positive work life balance.

Location

This firm has offices throughout Yorkshire and in Chesterfield, with this role being based from either the York, Leeds or Cleckheaton office, so it’s a chance to get a local role. Please note, candidates must be based in the UK as our client is unable to provide visas to overseas applicants.
