Personal Tax Manager sought by long standing independent firm. As a Personal Tax Manager, you will:
- Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, including high-net-worth individuals, business owners, directors, and trusts.
- Oversee the preparation and review of personal tax returns, trust returns and inheritance tax accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation.
- Provide tax planning advice on areas such as inheritance tax, capital gains tax, international tax and trust taxation.
- Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients and manage tax risk and compliance matters.
- Develop and mentor junior team members, supporting their technical and professional growth.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact for tax matters.
- Stay up to date with tax legislation.
- Manage WIP and the billing process.
The firm is accredited with the ICAEW to offer estate administration services and there are further opportunities if interested to get involved in probate work. This firm 'punches above its weight-class' and has some really HNW clients many of the team are ex Big 4 and Top 20 attracted by the opportunities to progress. Great salary and benefits package.
