Niche independent firm seeks a key new hire. In this role you will work closely with the Tax Director as part of a team that delivers high quality tax services to a range of both Personal, Trust and Corporate Clients. Though this firm is small its client base is fantastic, including HNW individuals and families, landed estates, trusts, owner managed businesses and entrepreneurs many of whom have large international businesses.
In this role you can become an integral member of the firm with a view of career progression, whilst building on existing technical skills and client relationships. This position is office based, the office is on the outskirts of Warrington.
Day to day you will be involved in the:
- Completion of UK and Jersey Personal Tax Returns for your own portfolio of clients comprising of HNWIs / Partners, Directors and Self Employed.
- Completion of Trust Returns
- Completion of Corporation Tax Returns for both UK and Jersey Resident Companies
- Completion of P11D's
- Completion of ATED returns
- Dealing with general queries from clients and HMRC
- Assisting with advisory work
- Managing own WIP and raising fee notes for portfolio of clients
- Liaising with other departments within the office.
- Reporting to head of tax predominantly but also other staff such as directors as appropriate.
There is plenty of scope for development in this role and a clear track to manager. Would suit someone ATT or CTA qualified with strong communication skills. This is a chance to work directly to the Head of Tax and have considerable input into your development.
