Overview
Our client is a Top 20 accountancy firm and this role will be based in their Manchester office. They seek a corporate tax specialist at either Assistant Manager or Manager level.
Key Responsibilities
- Corporate tax compliance, incorporating tax planning across a diverse portfolio of clients over the annual cycle including group tax planning, property planning, capital allowances, R&D tax credits and s455 tax planning. Tax accounting also essential.
- Work closely with Partners on stand-alone tax advisory projects, including structuring acquisitions and disposals, transaction support and due diligence.
- Supervision and review of work undertaken by the tax team, including staff responsibilities and work planning.
- Receive ongoing training with opportunities to attend internal and external training sessions.
Additional Information
The role provides a good range of work for someone with a solid corporate tax compliance background. Experience dealing with large groups, partnerships, non-resident landlords and non-resident capital gains tax would be beneficial. The firm will consider a part-time or full-time appointment, flexible working is possible. This is a growing team with clear scope for promotion and an excellent salary and benefits package too.
